Speed Dating: Competitor's Rankings
★ THE LINK TO THE SPREADSHEET ★
• On the spreadsheet, resort the list with your character's ranking of their preferred on the list—or insert ranking numbers beside the Constellation names in the column (all options from most to least) before 5PM EST/8PM EST Sunday. You must also check the box when you're done.
• Your character can talk ICly about their offers and address the Constellations if they have any questions/concerns/etc. Constellations, too, can ICly discuss their offers.
• Please discuss this OOCly. I've made a #speed-date on the discord server for this hashing out of pairs, it'll self-destruct later. No need to be hush about things in all honesty—and if we know a pair is absolute, might as well say so.
• MATCHES DON'T HAFTA HAVE PERFECT PAIRINGS FROM THE GET-GO! First of all, IC conflict is hilarious if personalities don't align since it means characters will need to conform to their sponsor's desires, or try to endure it and make do.
• Continuing on the above note, competitors can accept a sponsorship, eventually realize it ain't it for them, then break it off. Sponsorships can be regained again through the game more naturally anyway. Not to mention, willfully breaking an existing sponsorship means a fun—I mean, terrible effect of "losing yourself and becoming hollow," so hey, something to play with there until they find another Constellation willing to take them on.
• If your character refuses to accept a Constellation sponsorship here (which is also an option) there will be no real disadvantage aside from missing out on some of the perks of stigmas and attention (as well as some additional options being considered ohoho.) Again, they can get a sponsorship naturally later on.
• Most Constellations are willing to take on two characters! Bear that in mind. In fact, I wouldn't even be surprised if some Constellations don't sponsor anyone (which for the Constellation means more freedom to fuck around and do what they want.)
