★ Character and Constellation applications are open until further notice. Please check the taken page to see which team slots are currently available for characters. If more character apps are received than we have available before apps can be closed, it will not be a "first come, first served" order; we'll look at priorities. If you are not placed, we'll ask if you'd like to be put into a queue—however, a queue is not a promise that you will be placed before the round ends. Placements will always occur the following Sunday you apped.
★ This round of Celestrials will run from April 9th to... sometime in July! (I haven't determined which day yet, figured we'd feel it out as July drew closer.)
★ There may be anywhere from 4-6 teams in play based on the number of applications received. Please keep this in mind when picking out team preferences.
★ Applications will reopen during an ongoing round if there are 1) no characters in queue and 2) team slots open. Constellation applications will open once every month.
★ RECEIVED APPLICATIONS for both characters and Constellations.
APPING A CHARACTER
Who you can app
★ Canon, original, PG, and AU characters are allowed. Canon OCs are allowed so long as any relevant "canonmates" are aware and comfortable with it.
★ You can play up to 2 characters at a time. If the game reaches full capacity (36 characters) before your second is placed, I'll reach out to offer for your second to be added to a queue.
★ Characters do not have regular access to any of their powers or special abilities. Regenerative abilities, unique body properties (like having poisonous spikes or stretchy bones,) and immortality are all revoked. However! Characters can choose to spend coins the usage of any original power, including the innate ones like regeneration. You can read more on that here.
★ Dead characters can be apped—they're promised the chance to come back to life if they win! Whether or not the "dream" is an actual dream or some otherworldly encounter is unclear.
★ Characters can arrive with partial/full amnesia at your discretion. This option is for anyone who wants to take some memories from their character immediately upon their arrival for whatever playability interests they have. Just bear in mind that these memories cannot be regained through the course of the Celestrials.
Important considerations
Characters ought to feel strongly about the wishes they made... but who would I be if I turned down gag wishes? Sometimes a character's here, fighting for their life because they wished for a bag of Hot Fries in their dream. Regardless of the wish at stake, just ensure that your character would at least value their life (or the lives of their teammates) on principle. Not everyone would kill a man for some Hot Fries. i would though.
TL;DR: Your character should be inclined to try to win, even if just for self-preservation.How to apply

★ If you're struggling to pick between characters to play in Celestrials, you can app two characters and ask me to place one in the queue; that way we can arrange a straightfoward swap for you if it's not clicking.
APPING A CONSTELLATION
Before apping
★ You must read over both the general Constellations page and the playing a Constellation page before you can app, being as they're handled pretty differently from a standard character.
Who you can app
★ You can play whoever you want as a Constellation—your favorite fictional character, your own 100% original Constellation, one from this list of Constellations created by the powerful Degen/Carly/Mora team, or parts of the ones you like from that same list. You don't have to think too hard about WHY and HOW a character is a Constellation either, just roll with it~
★ You can play up to 3 Constellations at a time. You have the choice of playing exclusively Constellations, or playing Constellations alongside your character(s). Just be aware that we will purposefully avoid throwing your Constellation to the same team you're playing a character on.
★ Any exclusively/extremely horny Constellations will be turned away. It's not that the Constellations can't ever want to see their favorite hotties fuck, but Celestrials isn't a sex game; explicit sexual content must always be taken off comm.

★ Unlike character applications, I may reply within a day or so of receiving your Constellation application if there's anything I want to go over (this is so I can have Constellations ironed out quickly before I need to start thinking about character placements.) Please don't panic! Nothing is wrong with your app or Constellations, odds are I probably just need to get a better understanding of their stigmas. Also I have square brain.
